Our Commitment to Your Privacy
PinMe! is designed with a single purpose: to help you create and maintain a private, personal location log for your own benefit, whether that's resolving disputes, providing an alibi, or simply managing your lifestyle. Your privacy and your control are at the heart of everything we do.
Key Principles
- No Tracking or Analytics
PinMe! does not track you or your usage. No data is ever sent to us, Apple, or any third party for analytics or advertising.
- No Personal Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or user identifiers. Your data is your own.
- 100% Consented Sharing
The only way your location data ever leaves your device is if you choose to share it, by exporting a GPX file or sharing a map link. All sharing is explicit and user-initiated.
- Data Stays on Your Device
All logs are stored locally on your iPhone. If you configure off-device storage, logs are sent only to your own self-hosted Seq log store, never to us or anyone else.
- No Ads, No Monetization
PinMe! is ad-free. We do not monetize your data or your usage of the app in any way.
How PinMe! Works
- You control when and how your location is logged.
- You can delete any or all logs at any time.
- No background logging occurs without your explicit instruction.
- Data is never accessible to anyone but you, unless you choose to share it.
